We are working hard to minimize the environmental impact from the event itself. Some of the specific actions we are taking include:

1) We will purchase environmentally friendly wind power to offset any emissions generated by the electricity used to power the band and to produce the food & alcohol we consume.  This purchase will help reduce CO2, NOx, and SO2 emissions by adding cleaner energy into the electric system.

 

2) To recognize water used at this event, a donation is being made to the WaterShed Partners, a coalition of organizations that, through collaborative educational outreach, teaches people how to care for area waters.
